Council angered at Kingston theatre’s use of funds

The Rose Theatre spends £120k of its £500k grant on Creative Youth’s International Youth Arts Festival. A Kingston Councillor said: “The money is supposed to be used for services on behalf of the council, towards education and community... IYAF gets a huge subsidy through the back door.”
