Birmingham Museum shelves £18m revamp plans

Five teams were due to be shortlisted for a £2.6m design contract to improve exhibition spaces at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, but the tender has been cancelled. Birmingham Museums Trust blamed the decision on a “major scope and major time revision” generated by “a key stakeholder”.
