Arts figures recognised in Queen’s birthday honours

In the Queen’s birthday honours list CBEs have been awarded to Edinburgh Festival Fringe boss Kath Mainland, Joint Chief Executive of Creative and Cultural Skills Pauline Tambling, and Artistic Directors David Lan, of the Young Vic, and John Berry, of ENO. Among those receiving OBEs are Director of The Photographers’ Gallery Brett Rogers, Director of South London Gallery Margot Jane Heller, Founder and Director of Matt’s Gallery Robin Klassnik, ex-Director of the UK Foundation for Dance Namron Yarrum and Nisha Tandon, Executive Director of Northern Ireland’s ethnic arts and culture company ArtsEkta.
