Elaine Grant and Jackson Used are among five new trustees at BYMT
British Youth Music Theatre refreshes board with ‘high calibre’ professionals
British Youth Music Theatre (BYMT)has appointed RACHEL COX, ELAINE GRANT, REBECCA NICE, SARAH SHARE and JACKSON USED to its eleven-strong board of trustees.
Chief people officer at the Low Carbon Contracts Company, Cox is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the professional body for HR, learning and development.
A specialist in audience development and community, Grant has more than 40 years of experience in the creative industries, working with UK arts organisations to broaden access and inclusion.
Nice is a financial-services professional with 15 years in global strategy and sales roles, now part of JP Morgan’s Prime Financial Services team.
As a senior music education leader overseeing singing, instrumental and curriculum strategy at Leicestershire Music, Share is currently leading on the national inclusion programme Flourish!
Writer and dramaturg Used is a former lecturer at National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), and works in artistic development at Concord Theatrical.
“We are honoured to have attracted such a high calibre of professionals to our board and look forward to working together now and into the future as BYMT continually evolves to deliver outstanding musical theatre experiences for young people drawn from across the country,” said chair SIMON MILLSON OBE.
