SIMON WALES will take on the combined roles of CEO of Stowe House Preservation Trust and Director of Arts for Stowe School, commencing in September.

Wales will take over from NICK MORRIS at Stowe House Preservation Trust and DEBORAH HOWE, previous Director of Arts at Stowe School.

Wales was formally Chief Executive of Waddesdon Manor, a National Trust historic gardens and house. He has also worked as General Manager of the Town Hall in Birmingham and with the London Symphony Orchestra.

As Stowe School Director of Arts, Wales will be responsible for implementing the performance programme with external artists, alongside the school’s internal artistic curriculum.

According to Head of The Stowe Group Anthony Wallersteiner, Wales’ appointment begins a new journey in the partnership between the school and Stowe House Preservation Trust, as the Stowe Community looks forward to the revival of arts at Stowe School.
