The Production Guild of Great Britain (PGGB) has announced the members of its North West England Committee.

The group is the third of six National and Regional Committees being established by the membership body for production professionals, in response to “the continuing boom in film and high-end TV production across the UK”.

The five-strong committee will be chaired by producer PAUL MUNN, with Director of Liverpool Film Office LYNN SAUNDERS and Commercial Director of Space Studios Manchester MARK HACKETT acting as Vice-Chairs.

The trio are joined by Location One Managing Director CRISPIN HARDY and Panavision UK’s Regional Manager and Head of TV Drama DEAN ORAM.

The committee will meet a minimum of four times per year and look to deliver a variety of activities within their areas including forums, masterclasses and networking events.

Three further committees are set to launch in Scotland, Wales and Yorkshire in the coming months. The chairs of all six will meet annually with PGGB CEO LYNDSAY DUTHIE as a steering group.

“With each new network of professionals we establish across the country, PGGB becomes a stronger voice for those behind the camera whose hard work is servicing the ongoing boom in production the UK is seeing nationwide,” Duthie said.
