Sadler’s Wells names first Associate Artistic Director

ROB JONES is set to become Sadler’s Wells first Associate Artistic Director.

Jones, who is currently Senior Festival Producer with London’s Dance Umbrella, will join the dance company in August.

His new role will involve leading the organisation's programming team as it prepares to open Sadler’s Wells East next year.

Jones will also work alongside artistic advisors who are assisting Sadler’s Wells in programming work from Africa, the Caribbean and South Asia, as well as work by D/deaf and disabled artists and work for children and families. 

“I look forward to new adventures ahead working both with artists and communities to build on this legacy,” Jones said.
