Kokoro Arts Artistic Director to step down

Kokoro Arts Artistic Director KRYSTAL S. LOWE is leaving the company at the end of the year.

Executive Director GUNDIJA ZANDERSONA will take over artistic director duties until a replacement is found.

Kokoro Arts says Lowe, who will now spend time prioritising performing and creating work, has been an integral part of shaping the company.

"Leaving the company has been a difficult decision to make," Lowe commented.

"I fervently believe in the work of supporting and developing young artists and I have valued every moment I have had mentoring and learning with the young artists who have connected with the company."
