Ivors Academy Chair CRISPIN HUNT is leaving after five years.

A songwriter, producer and musician, Hunt is an elected council member of PRS for Music, sits on the UK Intellectual Property Office Copyright Advisory Panel ,and is a former Director and Co-CEO of the Featured Artist Coalition.

Announcing his resignation, Hunt said it is “high time to let the future lead the future”.

During his term, Ivors Academy rebranded from The British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors, relaunched as a charitable trust and improved the diversity of its board to become “the strongest and most diverse it has ever been,” Hunt said.
