NIAMH DOWLING will become The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art’s (RADA) Principal in June.

She takes over from EDWARD KEMP, who recently announced he was stepping down after 14 years.

Currently Head of Postgraduate School of Performance, Design and Technical Arts and the Rose Burford College of Theatre and Performance, Dowling has taught in the USA, Asia, Central and South America and Russia.

She is on the Executive of the Federation of Drama Schools and the editorial board of Taylor and Francis Journal: Theatre Dance Performance Training.
