DR SIMON DANCEY has resigned as CEO of Creative & Cultural Skills due to "short term health issues".
In an open letter Dancey thanked the organisation's staff and said he was pleased with what was achieved during his tenure.
"I joined Creative & Cultural Skills 18 Months ago to undertake an organisational review and implement any structural and cultural changes, including revising the mission, vision and values of the company. That work has now been successfully completed and therefore this seems like the perfect moment to step down and move onto new challenges, concentrating on my international work and academic research.
"Unfortunately, due to short term health issues, I have decided to step down as of February 29th 2020."
