Bradford Producing Hub (BPH) has appointed its first board as part of its transition from an Arts Council England-funded project to an independent organisation.

Leading are Co-Chairs KAREN WATSON, co-Artistic Director of East Street Arts, and KAMAL KAAN, a Bradford-born actor and writer.

Previous BPH Consortia members becoming trustees are ALEX CROFT, Creative Director of Kala Sangam; LIZ MYTTON, Creative Director of Theatre in Flow; and freelance artist URUSSA MALIK.

Joining them are STEPHEN THORP, a former member of the Creativity Council; DAVID GLANVILLE, Head of Communications & Marketing at City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council; and STEPHANIE HIGHETT, a Communications and Reputation Management Consultant.

Director of Bradford Producing Hub LISA MALLAGHAN said: “BPH is absolutely delighted to be supported by such an experienced and passionate board. We are in truly safe hands and are in the best position to continue delivering impactful support, ensuring incredible opportunities are provided for all of Bradford’s creative people over the exciting years to come.”
