DAVID SEFTON is the new Artistic Director of Gulbenkian Arts Centre, the University of Kent’s arts institution.

PAUL REED will leave his post as Chief Executive Officer at the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) in November this year, having spent nine years at the festival trade body, starting as General Manager.

Three new trustees have been appointed to The Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum by Prime Minister BORIS JOHNSON.

Their posts will last four years, commencing 5 September. 

The Secretary of State has reappointed HELEN BIRCHENOUGH as South West Area Chair of Arts Council England (ACE) for a four-year term, commencing 5 December.

DAFYDD RHYS is Arts Council of Wales’ (ACW) next Chief Executive.

WEZ SAUNDERS will be the new CEO of British independent record label Defected.

Saunders, former Managing Director at Defected, acquired the record label on 29 July for an undisclosed sum. 

The Secretary of State has named NIGEL WILKINSON MBE as an Advisory Board Member at VisitEngland, the official tourist board for England.

The five-year post commenced on 11 August.

JENNIE PATTERSON is replacing CHRIS WILSON as Communications and Media Manager at the V&A Dundee. 

The Secretary of State has named ANDREW HOCHHAUSER Chair of The Reviewing Committee on the Export of Works of Art and Objects of Cultural Interest (RCEWA).
