One Dance UK appoints new chair, vice-chair and trustees

One Dance UK, the national support organisation for dance, has appointed a new chair and vice-chair of its board of trustees, along with four new trustees.

VICTOR FUNG becomes chair of the board of trustees. Fung is artistic director and joint CEO of Pavilion Dance South West, and an active member of both local and international arts and cultural sector.

His skills span curation, choreography, research, education and performance, with a particular expertise in transnational collaborative projects.

“I’m delighted to take on the role of Chair of the Board of Trustees at One Dance UK,” Fung said. 

“We’re navigating a time of both challenge and opportunity as a sector and workforce. As chair, but also as a member of the sector, I recognise that One Dance UK has a vital role to play as the national support organisation for dance in this landscape.”

Meanwhile, EMMA KEITH has been appointed vice-chair. Keith currently leads The Knighton Group, an arts consultancy with a focus on digital transformation, audience development, and sustainable growth.

She previously spent over 15 years at the National Theatre, most recently as managing director of digital.

Four new trustees have also joined the board. PETR MEDVEDEV, ZOIE GOLDING, SUSI PINK and PAUL SMETHURST.
