The former artistic director of the RSC, GREGORY DORAN, has been named among Northern Ballet’s latest cohort of board members.
Doran, who has staged Romeo and Juliet with the Leeds-based dance company, will be joined by Royal Ballet principal dancer STEVEN MCRAE, employment law specialist EMMA BURROWS, dance teacher IMOGEN KNIGHT and Royal College of Art deputy director of advancement and alumni JESSYE PARKE.
Chief executive at Northern Ballet, DAVID COLLINS, said the company was “excited” to welcome the trustees, adding that their experience and knowledge will “help to shape Northern Ballet’s future direction”.
“These experienced and dynamic new trustees will further strengthen our board, adding to and complementing the skills we are fortunate to draw upon, “ added GUY PERRICONE, chair of Northern Ballet’s Board of directors.
