VocalEyes appoints new chair

The audio description charity VocalEyes has appointed STEPHEN HILTON as its new chair of trustees. Hilton, who joined the charity last year, was previously interim chair.

Hilton is the founder and director of the consultancy City Global Futures and previously oversaw Bristol City Council’s work on smart cities.

Hilton said he was “delighted” to take on the role, adding: “As someone with lifelong experience of severe sight impairment, a deep passion for the arts, and a background in technology and innovation, I’m committed to ensuring that VocalEyes continues to evolve to meet the needs of the communities it serves.”
