Shakespeare’s Globe appoints new Artistic Director

Olivier Award-winning actor and Royal Shakespeare Company Associate Artist MICHELLE TERRY is to become Shakespeare’s Globe’s new Artistic Director from April 2018. She replaces EMMA RICE, who leaves after a clash of artistic priorities with the organisation. Rice has set up a new theatre company, Wise Children, which will enter Arts Council England’s national portfolio from 2018.
