Science Museum trustees JO FOSTER and HANNAH FRY have resigned from the board following the institution’s new sponsorship deal with fossil fuel company Adani.

Foster is Director of the Institute for Research in Schools and Fry is a professor at University College London.

Explaining her resignation, Fry said “the Science Museum is giving the false impression that scientists believe the current efforts of fossil fuel companies are sufficient to avoid disaster”.

Foster and Fry’s resignations follow CHRIS RAPLEY’s last month. The former Science Museum director stood down from the Museum’s Advisory Board over the museum’s sponsorship deal with Shell.
