Roundhouse names new young trustees

A trio of young creatives are joining the Roundhouse’s board of trustees.

The three new young trustees are arts facilitator ANTONIA KAZMEIER, marketer, TikTok creator and DJ ROSHAN SINGH GUJRA and musician and music producer MONIQUE MUNROE.

They will work with the board to steer the direction of the Roundhouse over the next 12 months, while also being a part of the Roundhouse Youth Advisory Board, that acts as the voice of the Roundhouse’s creative works members, studio users and project participants.

The trio replace outgoing young trustees DEMI ADESOYE, RA’EESAH KAI and KENYA JUMA.

“In our society there are many barriers standing in the way of being creative and expressing yourself authentically, especially for marginalised voices,” Kazmeier said. “So as a young trustee I hope to be able to contribute to giving more young people the chance to explore their creativity in a safe and fulfilling way.”

The Roundhouse has now welcomed over 40 young trustees since it introduced the role to its board in 2006.
