The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has confirmed that three new trustees joined the board of Historic Royal Palaces earlier this year.
Culture Secretary LISA NANDY appointed THOMAS HARRIS, DAN JONES and Dame CAROLINE MICHEL for three-year terms on 15 April 2025.

Since 2007, Michel has been the chief executive of the literary and talent agency Peters Fraser and Dunlop and has served as chair, as well as previously as a trustee, of the Hay Literary Festival.
Harris, meanwhile, began his career with Price Waterhouse as a chartered accountant, going on to serve as finance director and chief financial officer for companies including HMV Canada and Virgin Megastores.
