EMILI ÅSTRÖM has joined the Edinburgh-based aerial dance company All Or Nothing as executive producer.

Åström is an arts administrator with more than a decade of experience in dance and the performing arts.

She has worked for a range of organisations in Scotland, including Dance Base, Creative Scotland, Starcatchers and at Edinburgh College of Art.

Prior to moving to Scotland, she worked on the Dance for PD® programme at Mark Morris Dance Centre in New York.

She has also taught and facilitated dance projects for all ages for Rambert dance company.

Åström has also worked as a freelance producer and brought dance and theatre to patients on wards at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. She originally trained in dance at Rambert School.

ANNE GALLACHER, All Or Nothing’s chair of the board, said: “Emili brings huge expertise as a producer and an in-depth knowledge of the dance sector in Scotland, both of which will be invaluable to the company.”

Åström added: “I’m excited to contribute to the company’s next phase and be part of the continued development of aerial dance here in Scotland and beyond.”

All Or Nothing was awarded multi-year funding by Creative Scotland for the first time earlier this year.
