Perth Theatre and Concert Hall has named CHRISTOPHER GLASGOW Chief Executive following the departure of NICK WILLIAMS.

Currently Director of External Relations, Glasgow was first appointed to the organisation in 2021 as head of Marketing, Ticketing and Fundraising.

Since joining, Glasgow has worked on several projects and long-term initiatives including a comprehensive rebrand, the reinstatement of the Perth Theatre Season Subscription and the launch of Perthshire Box Office. He helped to create regular audience focus groups and the Friends scheme, and devised the upcoming Polish season.

Glasgow is also the Non Executive Director of Drake Music Scotland, an organisation providing music making opportunities for people with disabilities.

Chair COLIN HOOD commented: "He has been the driving force behind many of Perth Theatre and Perth Concert Hall’s recent successes, working closely with Nick, myself and my fellow Trustees on developing and executing the ongoing strategy for the organisation.

"His appointment ensures important continuity in this key position as well as an injection of fresh ideas."

"Nick leaves the organisation in a fantastic place both financially and strategically and his shoes are big ones to fill," Glasgow said.

"I am confident that we have the right people and ideas in place to build on his legacy and ensure that we continue to fulfil our commitment to ensuring the performing arts are essential to our communities."
