London growth agency expert joins SOLT and UK Theatre

PR, marketing, and public affairs expert FEEROZA PATEL is to join sister organisations Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and UK Theatre as director of membership and external affairs later this month.

Patel takes up her role at the twin theatre sector bodies on 10 September, arriving from London & Partners, the international trade and promotion agency for the UK capital.

Her previous positions include roles at the Office for Government Commerce, the National Skills Academy, the Olympic Government Unit, and within the fashion industry. SOLT and UK Theatre spokespeople stated that she also had a “longstanding commitment” to theatre, serving as a trustee of the Actors Touring Company.

Patel said she was “thrilled” to get started, adding: “I look forward to building strong relationships with members and forging powerful coalitions across the sector, so that together we can amplify our collective voice, grow audiences, and champion British theatre as one of the UK’s great success stories.”
