Capital Theatres welcomes new board members

MICHAEL HARRISON and GILLIAN HARKNESS-MCKINLAY have been appointed trustees of Capital Theatres.

Harrison is the director of Michael Harrison Entertainment and co-founder of the producing partnership Lloyd Webber Harrison Musicals alongside ANDREW LLOYD-WEBBER in 2022.

A noted producer behind productions including the current West End musical Titanique and the Broadway transfer of Sunset Boulevard, he is also chief executive of Crossroads Pantomimes, which produces across the UK including at Capital’s Edinburgh venues – King’s Theatre and the Festival Theatre.

Harkness-McKinlay is a solicitor specialising in the public sector and charity clients, with experience supporting arts charities. She has a background in singing and drama and has performed as a dancer at Glastonbury and the Edinburgh Fringe.
