Birmingham Rep has made four board appointments, with the new trustees holding expertise in areas including branding, marketing and community leadership.

Joining the board of the West Midlands theatre are creative and brand design leader ANDY HOLDEN, who is experienced in the tourism, automotive, entertainment and fast-moving consumer goods sectors, and BRADLEY MORRISON, a marketing and communications specialist working in education, retail, arts and culture.

Local counciller SAIMA SULEMAN, the city’s cabinet member for digital, culture, heritage and tourism, and former Lord Mayor of Birmingham KEN WOOD, a recruitment consultant and public sector advocate, round out the quartet.

Chief executive of the Rep, RACHAEL THOMAS, said: “We are thrilled to welcome these new members to the Board. Their expertise and passion will be invaluable as the Rep continues to evolve, support artists, and deepen our impact for audiences and communities in Birmingham and across the UK.”

Chair Sir ANDY STREET added: “I am delighted to welcome our new Board members to the Rep. They bring a rich mix of experience, insight and commitment that will strengthen our governance.

“I look forward to working closely with them as we continue to champion bold, inclusive work and serve Birmingham as a leading cultural institution.”
