Professor David Mba
Vice-chancellor at Birmingham City University
David Mba has been vice-chancellor of Birmingham City University since 2023. Previously, he has held roles as a deputy vice-chancellor at the University of the Arts London and as pro vice-chancellor at De Montfort University. He has also held other senior university positions at London South Bank University and at Cranfield University.
David is chair of the Birmingham Cultural Compact, co-chair of the Black Leaders in HE network, and a member of the Advance HE Board. He is also a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and a principal fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
