Gurvinder Sandher
Artistic director at Cohesion Plus
Gurvinder is the artistic director of Cohesion Plus and CEO of the KECC (Kent Equality Cohesion Council). With over 20 years’ experience in the sector, Gurvinder works extensively in partnership with both voluntary and statutory sectors to promote community cohesion, engagement with diverse communities and to eliminate discrimination.
He has an extensive background in the arts and is a renowned Bhangra dancer having performed all over the world since 1985. He is passionate about diversity and inclusion and champions increased visibility for ethnic minority artists and organisations.
Gurvinder is an OutdoorArtsUK board member as well as an Arts Council England Area Council Member for the South East and member of the Arts Council England Race Advisory Group.
