Dorothy Molloy
Co-founder at StageSwift
Dorothy Molloy is co-founder of StageSwift – an online event scheduling app . After an early career as a singer songwriter and actor she retrained, working in IT at English National Opera and reskilling in software engineering.
Previously Dorothy worked for 11 years in BBC News, progressing to senior software engineer and team leader. There she created the Beta version of the BBC News app for Android.
Since 2012, she has co-run her own software agency with fellow software engineer and husband Anthony Mellor. Together they created StageSwift which has won two Innovate UK awards.
