A new survey, ‘Philanthropy in the Arts’, is aiming to assess the current funding climate in the arts sector, including the impact of the first year of Arts Council England’s Catalyst Fundraising grants. This is the third time the survey, conducted independently by the agency Arts Quarter (AQ), has been run, and this year’s findings will reveal the extent to which arts organisations have been successful at diversifying their funding streams. AQ is keen to generate responses from arts organisations of all types, across artform and regardless of their funding status: the findings will be published at the end of May.
