(L to R): Louise Benson, Celia Willoughby, Laura Wright

Wysing Arts Centre has welcomed LAURA WRIGHT as Chair of its Board alongside LOUISE BENSON and CELIA WILLOUGHBY as trustees.

Wright is Chief Executive of London's The Postal Museum, which recently became a National Portfolio Organisation.

She was previously CEO of Tate Enterprises Ltd, focusing on retail, publishing, brand licensing and product development. This followed commercial roles at Tate, National Portrait Gallery and Institute of Contemporary Arts.

Her other board experience includes being a trustee for the Association of Cultural Enterprises and the International Association of Transport and Communication Museums.

A writer and editor based in London, Benson is Director of Digital at ArtReview and Co-founder of Scenic Views, an interiors magazine that explores overlooked design histories. She was formerly the Deputy Editor at Elephant magazine.

Willoughby co-founded the monthly queer performance night Club Urania in collaboration with Wysing Arts Centre and Cambridge Junction and chairs Cambridge's new queer-led arts collective, HESTIA.

With a professional background in sustainability and environmental science, she plans to use her experience to help with Wysing's environmental strategy.

The Cambridge-based centre said it was "delighted" to announce the new Board members.
