AYANNA WITTER-JOHNSON has joined Awards for Young Musicians’ (AYM) board of trustees.

An acclaimed singer, songwriter, pianist and cellist, Witter-Johnson has also worked internationally as a composer, having been commissioned by ensembles including the London Symphony Orchestra and Güerzenich Orchester.

She says she is delighted to be joining AYM’s board, having first worked with the programme as a donor and founder of the AYM Rose Walker Award for Woodwind.

“Increasing and growing AYM’s impact and reach to diverse artists is important to me and I look forward to being part of AYM’s incredible future work,” Witter-Johnson said.
