Sarah Webb, incoming Executive Director, Unlimited Theatre. She is a white woman with long, brown hair and green eyes. She stands against a brick wall. She stands to the side, looking at the camera smiling.

Unlimited Theatre’s SARAH WEBB steps up as Executive Director.

Webb joined the theatre four years ago in an administrative role before becoming General Manager in 2019.

She led on the ‘reinduction’ of all permanent and freelance staff, facilitating conversations about well-being, safety and happiness in the workplace. She has also worked to make Unlimited more sustainable by creating a net zero roadmap.

As the company prepares to close in its present form at the end of the year, Webb will co-lead the transition to a new model. As part of the winding down process, Webb will scale down Unlimited’s producing activity while setting up a new structure on a grant-giving model, administered by the company’s trustees.

“As we continue to move forwards, we’re extremely happy that this next stage of the journey will be with Sarah at the helm,” the company commented.

Webb added: “Unlimited operates a high trust and low blame culture, and it’s absolutely this culture that has enabled me to grow and thrive in my roles with the company.

“I never imagined four years ago that I would be where I am today and I’m very grateful for the support that guided me here. I’m excited to help facilitate such a big year of change and achievement for Unlimited.”
