Talawa Theatre Company boosts leadership team

CAROLYN ML FORSYTH (pictured left) is joining Talawa Theatre Company as Executive Director to work alongside Artistic Director and CEO, Michael Buffong. Forsyth’s career has included co-producing with leading regional venues and independent production companies, leading UK and international presentations from Dance Umbrella, Lokal, Spring, and Spieltart festivals, and being part of the leadership team responsible for launching building-based children’s theatre Unicorn Theatre. ELAINE BANTON (pictured right), an employment, equalities and human rights barrister who joined the company earlier this year, has been announced as Talawa’s Chair of Trustees.
