Digital agency Substrakt has revealed the members of its new advisory board which will operate from July.

The board will feature Co-Founder of Label Ventures NICK SHERRARD, Senior Consultant at AEA Consulting HILARY KNIGHT, Head of Experience and Digital at the V&A KATI PRICE and Co-Founder of the London Theatre Company NICK STARR CBE.

Substrakt’s Founder & Executive Chair ANDY HARTWELL, Managing Director ASH MANN, and Technical Director STUART MAYNES will also join the board.

Susbtrakt says its advisory board will offer guidance on products, services, and initiatives it should be prioritising, exploring, and delivering for their clients and the wider sector.

The move will be followed by the introduction of a new R&D department at the company, called Substrakt Labs. Set to launch in autumn, the department will focus on testing new digital concepts and ideas.

“What ‘digital’ means is a constantly evolving question”, says Mann.

“Standing still is not an option and this new board will allow us to have ambitious but informed future-focused conversations about the challenges and opportunities that the cultural sector faces around the use of digital.”

“True digital innovation in culture can seem both inevitable and impossible at the same time,” Sherrard adds.

“Substrakt have the ambition and the capability, as well as the relationships, to explore what the future holds. I’m excited to support that and am looking forward to seeing how this board can help the organisation accelerate change, and harness the new opportunities.”
