AMANDA LEVETE has been elected a Royal Academician of Architecture and ELLEN GALLAGHER and PIPLIOTTI RIST as Honorary Royal Academicians.

Levete is a RIBA Stirling Prize-winning architect and principal of architecture studio AL_A. She was awarded a CBE for services to architecture in 2017 and elected an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 2019.

Her recently completed projects include the Victoria & Albert Museum Exhibition Road Quarter - the V&A’s largest building project in over 100 years – and ongoing commissions include Paisley Museum’s renovation and expansion.

Gallagher’s practice encompasses painting, drawing, collage and celluloid-based projects and her work features in collections at New York's Museum of Modern Art and Tate London.

Rist is renowned as a pioneer of spatial art and has recently held solo exhibitions at Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles and Kyoto’s National Museum of Modern Art.
