Michael Beavan, the Deputy CEO of PGGB, is sitting on a chair in front of a bush of ivy. He is a white man with a ginger hair and beard, wearing a mustard-colored blazer with a black shirt underneath. The photo appears to have been taken in the evening or at night. He is smiling at the camera.

MICHAEL BEAVAN is to step up as Deputy CEO of The Production Guild of Great Britain (PGGB).

Since joining PGGB in 2021 as Director of Partnerships and Projects, Beavan has established new business partnerships and sponsorships to support PGGB operations, and organised events to improve diversity and inclusion, including the first PGGB Talent Showcase hosted last month.

As Deputy CEO, Beavan will work closely alongside CEO LYNDSAY DUTHIE and the Board of Trustees to develop and deliver the Guild’s business strategy and oversee operational delivery.

Duthie said Beavan has already made a “massive impact” on PGGB and is “really pleased” to see him step up to the role of Deputy CEO.

“His expertise will be invaluable in helping to shape and deliver PGGB’s future priorities as we continue support and develop the professional membership we represent in today’s flourishing film and TV workforce.”

Beavan commented: “Harnessing the power and the passion generated by our members and corporate partners, coupled with the energy and enthusiasm from the Guild’s own talented team, has made this role an irresistible one for me.

“The future of The Production Guild of Great Britain could not be more exciting!”
