TOM LITTLER will take over as Artistic Director of Orange Tree Theatre at the end of the year.

Coming to the new role from the West End’s Jermyn Street Theatre, where he currently serves as Artistic Director and Executive Producer, he will succeed PAUL MILLER, who will step down in December after more than eight years.

Littler has been nominated for eight OffWestEnd Best Director Awards. At Jermyn Street Theatre, where he started in 2017, he has produced over 40 full-scale productions, many of them new writing.

Under his leadership, the theatre won the 2021 Stage Award for Fringe Theatre of the Year and a 2022 Critics’ Circle Commendation for exceptional theatre-making during lockdown.

He previously worked as Associate Director of Theatre503 and Artistic Director of Primavera.

“I’ve loved the Orange Tree for many years, and I’ve hugely admired Paul’s tenure at this local, London and national theatre,” Littler said.

“I’m delighted to join such a brilliant team and help lead this unique theatre into a vibrant new chapter.”
