Northern Ireland Opera appoints Artistic Director

Formerly Staff Director at Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf, WALTER SUTCLIFFE is to become the new Artistic Director of Northern Ireland Opera from February 2017. Current Artistic Director OLIVER MEARS will join the Royal Opera House as Director of Opera from the beginning of March 2017.
