Trustees join Edinburgh International Festival ahead of 80th birthday
Edinburgh International Festival has welcomed five new trustees to its board as the annual arts showcase gets underway in Scotland.
The cohort includes former senior United Nations official ANDREW GILMOUR, who spent over 30 years in global diplomacy, leading efforts in human rights and peacebuilding, and LYN MCDONALD, former director of the Scotland Office, who led major projects and government functions.
Chief revenue and partnerships officer, global syndication at Comcast and Sky, MICHELLE REGLINSKI, also joins the board, along with former president of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, JOHN TAYLOR and director of public policy for Northern Europe at Meta, CHRIS YIU, who has also worked at Uber and the Tony Blair Institute.
Chair of the Edinburgh International Festival, Sir KEITH SKEOCH said, “ We are delighted to welcome such a distinguished group of individuals to our board.
“Their global experience and diverse perspectives will be invaluable as we continue to evolve as an organisation. As we look towards our 80th anniversary in 2027, this is a pivotal moment to both honour our rich legacy and embrace the opportunities ahead.”
