MARK READ has been appointed a trustee of the Natural History Museum by Prime Minister BORIS JOHNSON.
Read will join the board for a four-year term beginning 1 June.
He became CEO of WPP in 2018, having held multiple leadership positions at the the communications, advertising and public relations company since first joining in 1989.
Read was included in the 2021 and 2022 EMpower advocates list, which recognises leaders who create diverse and inclusive business environments, and was made a Fellow of the Institute of Practitioners of Advertising for outstanding services to the industry in the IPA’s 2021 New Year’s Honours.
