MIRANDA CROMWELL and HANNAH JOSS have been named as Associate Directors at Chichester Festival Theatre.
An award-winning director, Cromwell has directed shows at various theatres including the Olivier, the Young Vic and the Kiln in London, and Manchester Royal Exchange and Nottingham Playhouse. At Chichester she will work with the acting and creative companies.
Joss's new role will focus on commissioning new work and liaising with agents and producers. Previously, Joss was Resident Director at the National Theatre Studio and a director on the most recent Old Vic 12 cohort.
LIZ MCCARTHY-NIELD joins the company as Director of Development. Her previous roles include Development Director at Artichoke Trust and at Theatre Royal Stratford East. She also spent 11 years at the National Theatre leading the Corporate Development team.
