Oxford Playhouse has appointed LUCY MARCUS as its new Board Chair.
She takes over from MOSS COOPER, who will continue as Vice Chair.
Marcus is CEO of Marcus Venture Consulting. She is an experienced board chair and non-executive director who has been recognised by the Thinkers 50 Award and has written for a variety of publications around the world on boards, leadership, ethics and innovation.
“The mission of Oxford Playhouse is to deliver innovative, relevant and inclusive programming that sparks, enables, and nurtures curiosity and imaginations,” she said.
“With its wide range of productions both on and off stage, its work within communities, particularly with young people, and its commitment to nurturing and encouraging bold new voices and talent, it works towards this every day.
“As we move forward, we will be laser-focused on future-proofing the organisation, continue to be bold in our commitment to inclusion and diversity and innovation, and invest in vital areas from technology to boundary-breaking productions and from environmental sustainability to social impact.”
