Arts Council England has announced two new appointments to its South West Area Council: STEPHEN LIGHTBOWN and NATALIE ADAMS.
Lightbown is a Bristol-based poet who has spoken at festivals including Shambala, Womad, Camp Kin and Lyra Bristol Poetry Festival.
He is an author of two poetry collections and recently performed his first commission for theatre, a piece about applying for the PIP disability benefit.
Adams is creative producer and Co-Director of Trigger, one of 10 teams selected to be part of Festival UK* 2022.
She is a board member of the Independent Theatre Council and has worked for organisations including Paines Plough, Coney and nabokov.
The fifteen-person South West Area Council board works to ensure Arts Council England develops creative talent and the cultural ecology of the area.
