Leadership shake-up at English Touring Opera

JAMES CONWAY, General Director of English Touring Opera since 2002, moves into the role of Artistic Director to fully focus on leading the company’s artistic vision and planning. JANE-EVE STRAUGHTON, who joined in 2014 having served as Executive Director of The Opera Group, and Producer at Norwegian National Opera and ENO, has been promoted to the new role of Executive Director.

Senior leadership joining the company as a part of the restructure are Chartered Accountant HELEN EVANS, as the new Head of Finance; DOMINIC HADDOCK, who leaves his role at Spitalfields Music to become Head of Development; and bass baritone BRADLEY TRAVIS, who takes on the role of Communications and Associate Artist.
