Leadership change at Shubbak

Shubbak, a UK-based festival of contemporary Arab culture, has appointed FARÈS K MOUSSA as its new Executive Director. He is joining from Strode Theatre in Somerset, where he has been Director since 2017. Moussa was previously House Manager at the Royal Opera House and a councillor for the London Borough of Sutton. He replaces DANIEL GORMAN, who is leaving to be Director of English PEN in August.
