BRYONY KIMMINGS has been named Oily Cart's new Ambassador.
A writer, director, theatre, film maker and Soho Theatre associate artist, Kimmings joins Oily Cart as it celebrates its 40th year.
"I am interested in making theatre more democratic, political and experimental with form and Oily Cart’s incredible, prescient work in sensory theatre inspires me," Kimmings said.
Oily Cart Artistic Director ELLIE GRIFFITHS says she looks forward to working with Kimmings to find ways to break down ableist attiudes.
"Bryony understands exactly what Oily Cart’s work means for our artists and audiences and the impact that it can make."
