FRANCES JEENS is stepping down as Director of Jewish Museum London to become Head of Education and Engagement at the UK Parliament.

Jeens has spent almost ten years at the museum, including three as director. She was formerly the museum's Director of Learning and Engagement and will continue to sit on its Collections Advisor Network and Fundraising and HR Committees.

Jeens said it has been a privilege to lead the museum and believes greatly in its work.

"I will be continuing to work with the museum for one day a week until the end of December to lead on a couple of major projects, including the build of a new collections storeroom to house a large Sephardic collection, and will also continue as a trustee for a while so there will be a good transition period," she added.
