ROBIN HAWKES, Leeds Playhouse’s Joint Chief Executive and Executive Director, is stepping down to become Theatre Director of Manchester Palace & Opera House Theatres at ATG.
Hawkes led the theatre through a £16.8m redevelopment project during his six-and-a-half year tenure.
“The Playhouse has realised its incredible achievements thanks to an extraordinarily skilled and committed team, who I will really miss working with,” Hawkes said.
Joint Chief Executive and Artistic Director James Brining says Hawkes leaves the theatre in a “fundamentally strong” position.
“During his tenure, Robin has been a brilliant colleague and inspirational to work alongside and I wish him and his family all the best for the future. Our loss is ATG’s gain.”
