Glyndebourne General Director steps down after 18 months

SEBASTIAN F. SCHWARZ, who took up the post of General Director of Glyndebourne in May 2016, has decided to step down, saying he felt most at home “in a position which allows me to concentrate more fully on creating and executing the artistic vision of an organisation”. GUS CHRISTIE, Glyndebourne’s Executive Chairman, will assume the role of Acting General Director as an interim appointment.
