The Secretary of State has reappointed five Area Chairs to Arts Council England.

SUKHY JOHAL, Director of the Centre for Culture and Creativity at the University of Lincoln, will continue as Midlands Area Chair until the end of November 2025.

KATE WILLARD, Chair of the Thames Estuary Growth Board and the Government appointed Thames Estuary Envoy, remains North Area Chair until the end of November 2023.

RONI BROWN, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) at University of the Arts London, will continue as South East Area Chair until the end of November 2023.

ANDREW MILLER, a prominent disability advocate and cultural commentator and the chair of Arts Council England’s Disability Advisory Group, will remain a National Council Member until the end of November 2025.

ELISABETH MURDOCH, the co-founder of SISTER, founder and Chair of Locksmith Animation and non-Executive Director of Tribeca Enterprise, will also continue as a National Council Member until the end of November 2025.
